I honestly did not know Crunch ‘n Munch was still around. Always the red-headed step-child to Cracker Jacks, I’m not sure if Crunch ‘n Munch ever gained any real leadership in the snacks market. It also had to battle Poppycock and Fiddle Faddle and quit frankly, they all have better names than Crunch ‘n Munch.

Nevertheless, we saw this at Walmart for $2.68 and we thought, “Hey, this is a cool mashup between the ever so popular brownie brittle craze and glazed popcorn! What could go wrong?” Well…

To be fair, it’s not terrible, it’s just not great. The chocolate taste is faint, the minuscule-sized brownie brittle and brownie cookie pieces add nothing to the taste either. The only thing saving this was the praline almonds you find maybe every tenth piece or so. I didn’t keep count, but it wasn’t frequent. We can’t really recommend this, but that’s why we spend our hard-earned money to try these snacks, so you don’t have to. I’m almost sad we tried this flavor over the Birthday Cake flavor. Maybe Birthday Cake would have been better. If you want to try it for yourself, you can buy a two-pack of Crunch ‘n Munch Brownie Brittle Crunch and Birthday Cake by clicking the photo below (Amazon Affiliate link).
